August Favourite's

Hello Everyone 😊
Anyone noticed that this month has gone rather slow. For anyone wondering, my mum is okay, she's healed but still has to take it easy. I have a lot to get through so lets get started 😊

Netflix

Iron Fist 7/10
It took a while to get into this, the "action" didn't really start til the last 4 episodes but it's definitely worth a watch if you want to watch The Defenders.

Jessica Jones 7/10
This was my second time watching this as last time, I didn't end up finishing it but in order to watch The Defenders, I decided I had to watch it, This was similar to Iron Fist, it didn't get going til the last 4 episodes.

Naked 7/10
Love the Wayan's brothers and this was rather funny, a must watch if you need a laugh.

NowTV

Moana 10/10
This was the first film I watched at the start of the month and since then, I've watched it 6 more times 😂 I just love it so much, the story, the characters, the songs, the graphics, to me, its the best Disney film so far and definitely a must watch.

Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children 8/10
A rather odd film but I enjoyed it, thought it was a bit freaky at bits but I'm a huge fan of Eva Green.

Storks 6/10
I watched this out of pure boredom and ended up enjoying it.

Batman v Superman 9/10
Loved the action in this film, especially the ending (wont give it away if you haven't seen it) but if you like superhero movies then this is a must.

Doctor Strange 9/10
Been putting this film off for a while now, as I wasn't sure whether I would like it or not but as it's Marvel and he is going to be in future films, I had no choice and I loved it, his character is hilarious and perfect for the role. Can't wait to see him in future films.

Trolls 9/10
I love films like this, singing creatures 😂 especially hearing the sound of silence in it, This film is rather morbid but makes fun out of death, a must watch for both adults and children. Need to watch it again soon.

TV

In The Dark 7/10
Plot: As she grapples with pregnancy D.I. Helen Weeks must return to the hometown she loathes to help her childhood best friend, who finds herself at the centre of a media frenzy following the abduction of two girls.
I love a good mini-series and this one was great to watch.

Ransom 8/10
Season 1 has just ended and its been a good series.

Dark Matter 9/10
Can't believe season 3 is over already, really hope it comes back next year, would love to see where they go with the story.

Mini Update

Hello Everyone 😊
Yes, I know its been a while, i'm super shit at blogging lately, I have nothing to blog about, its sad.
As usual, I'm hoping next month will be better but it could be worse 😂

These past couple of days have been hectic. My mum finally went for her gallbladder removal on Thursday, so me and my sister are looking after her. She can't lift anything heavy or drive for 2 weeks. I've been doing my part, cleaning, making cuppas. She mostly sleeps, hopefully, she'll be more brighter soon. The house is currently covered in flowers, it looks like a funeral home 😂 I have made a quite few death jokes, but humour helps.
I haven't been able to sleep properly, in case she needs something doing, so I've only been sleeping for an hour or so each time. But as my sister was off work today, once she woke up, I went to bed to have a nap, I definitely felt better afterwards.

Nothing else has been happening really, I've been watching a lot, like usual, still catching up with Jessica Jones before I watch The Defenders.

My sister has started watching Atypical, she said she finds it a bit funny, because its about an autistic boy and his life and she said she laughs at things he does, that I do too. Maybe this program can educate people more. It would be nice.

I made a few cards recently:

I'm currently learning how to make envelopes, stress isn't even the word. I also have a really good idea for gifts too, but I'll have to see if that works before I show you, look forward to that in the future.

If you don't already, follow me on Twitter Here I'm always on there, say Hey or dm me if you want to chat, im game 😂 (does anyone actually say that)

Speak soon,

Love, Emma xxx

Update

Hello Everyone 😊

Wow, it's been a while since I have written properly on here. My motivation is lacking, basically, it's in the shit bin! (This might not make sense, just writing what I feel)
I have always tried to be as "frank" as possible on here, lying gets you nowhere in life. This blog is an expression of my life, this might sound stupid as hell, but I love this blog, I love writing about anything. I check my views multiple times during the day, every day, seeing what people have been reading and hopefully enjoying what I write.
So to be as real as possible, I will tell you the realness with my mental health. If you know me, then you know I'm a negative person, always have been, I'm my worst critic. Having depression + autism + negativity is the worst. My brain is constantly on, it never shuts off when I sleep, everything is heightened, I can't relax at all, the slightest thing can piss me off, now add that to depression, every day I wake up, wishing I didn't, would I be better off dead, is there any point in living a life going no where, why do I want to live in a world that is going to shit. My problem; couldn't kill myself if I tried, I'm afraid of death, leaving this world in pain, terrifies me, what happens to my family, my cats, my possessions, what happens to my blog and my social media, its stupid to think about, but in this day and age, its all we think about really.
When you read this, you'll probably think I need help. But I don't really, I'm not going to kill myself, I have lived with this feeling all my life and 26 years later, I am still here.
Yes, sometimes, I need to vent, usually twitter and instagram get the worst of it.
But, I know, my problems are not as worse as some people have it, I'm not dying of an incurable disease, I have not been raped, attacked or been put in a life and death situation.
My life now, is nothing. I do nothing, every day life is the same, I go to sleep, I wake, watch tv, play games, sleep more, eat. That's it! Most of my time is spent alone, I rarely go out and when I do, I'm with my family.
I live off my benefits and do nothing to support my mum at home because I am lazy and selfish.
I wish I wasn't negative all the time, but shit happens.
I try to be happy when I'm not but no one never knows as I don't show it.
I didn't want my blog to go down this route of being negative and depressive, But I can't shy away from what I'm feeling, in my mind, I am still that immature 16 year old who doesn't want to grow up. I don't feel like an adult, even though I do have bills to pay. I don't want to get older, I want to keep playing the sims and watching Barbie films forever. I refuse to grow up for anyone.
I hope this post hasn't angered anyone, feel free to private message me on Twitter

I'm hoping to be happier soon, I bought some sports clothes, I'm fat and its getting harder to walk, so I'm determined to lose weight by walking everyday. I did hear somewhere that exercise is good for depression, lets hope so.

Also hoping to produce more content this month too. Get my blog back to normal again and maybe less depressive posts in the future.
